Coaching focuses on performance and personal development, whereas counseling addresses clinical mental health needs and is protected under HIPAA. Start by reaching out for a free consult. During your consult, you'll get to meet your specialist and discuss how sport psychology or mental health counseling services might benefit you. This consult will be followed by a formal intake during which your specialist will help you identify specific goals for you or your team and collaborate on a unique plan that fits your needs. Depending on the goals you set, your specialist may meet with you regularly one-on-one, provide team sessions, attend/observe practices and/or competitions, or provide supportive communication outside of scheduled sessions.
Every performer will have a different timeline when it comes to seeing results. Just like it takes a few months to see results in the gym, it also takes a few months to see/feel the results from sport psychology or counseling work. Progress will largely depend on your goals, current ability, and commitment to the process.
For now, services are primarily offered via a secure telehealth platform. To inquire about potential on-site support, please contact us.
